Tax Senior with M&A experience
to join our dynamic Tax Advisory Services team. This important role includes technical tax consulting work:Lead and coordinate tax due diligence efforts for buy-side and sell-side transactionProvide timely and quality tax advice, always aiming to exceed client expectationsWork closely with Partners and Directors on various technical tax issues dealing with Subchapter C, Subchapter K, inbound and outbound international tax issuesReview tax aspects of merger agreements and legal documents; provide tax opinion memorandumsAssist clients with a variety of tax consulting projects such as debt restructurings, tax basis, earning and profits, and section 382 studiesAssist in training and mentoring interns and staffCommunicate complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and concise mannerComply with and implement KR's global compliance processRequirementsWhat Skills You'll Bring:3+ years of experience in tax, with a strong focus on M&A transactionsJD, or Master’s in Taxation preferred. Public accounting experience requiredStrong writing, research, analytical, communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environmentDeadline-conscious and results-drivenHow You'll Stand Out:Self-starter with ability to deal with multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detailAbility to work overtime during peak timesStrong leadership, data, and organizational skillsBenefitsWe embrace authenticity.
