Summary of the Role:

We are looking for a talented Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging complex programs while considering system limitations and performance standards. You will work within an Agile/Scrum environment, providing technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop specifications, application code, test, and debug complex programs, taking into consideration computer equipment capacity and systems limitations, to meet performance standardsPerform day-to-day activities for the application development within an Agile/Scrum environment.Provide technical expertise in the design, development and construction of new Business Systems and enhancements for less experienced analyst/programmersFollow the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to plan, design, build, test, and deploy software applications, ranging from complex Business ERP Applications, Web Applications, websites and mobile applications, and eCommerce applications (API's, RESTservices, etc.)Support and maintain the production operation of large systems consisting of multiple sub-systemsDevelop and/or update program documentationProvide feedback to management to enhance standards of performance and expectationsParticipate in the development/customization of the Business Systems infrastructure, and internal I.T. Department standards and proceduresMay perform project leadership role for development and/or enhancement projects, which include instruct, direct, check the work of project team members, and provide approval for software changes moved into productionMay perform project leadership role which includes developing project plans, estimates and schedules, system test plans, system test cases, integrated test plans, implementation plans and complete Quality Assurance requirements or otherwise assist in these tasksMay perform project leadership role which includes assisting in personnel actions such as appraisals, coaching, etc.Required Qualifications:

5+ years prior business programming experienceIntermediate to Expert knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle databaseBeginning to moderate Linux shell scripting knowledgeModerate knowledge of System development methodologies - Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodology, Agile and SCRUMModerate System Design/Analysis skillsModerate knowledge of a combination of coding tools & technologies, such as J2EE, JAVA, JAVA Frameworks, DOJO, Angular, Hibernate, Spring, REST services, JSON & JAVA Script, RAD or Eclipse development tools. Minimal .Net, IntelliJ IDE, Talend ETL, Jira, Service Now, Git.Moderate knowledge in planning, estimating and using project management skills, procedures and techniquesModerate knowledge of techniques in selecting, recommending and implementing software toolsModerate knowledge of technical trends to assist in planning strategic client/server applicationsModerate oral and written communication skillsModerate knowledge of wholesale automotive industry applications preferredPrevious experience web development methodology and tools (JAVA EE) preferredPay Transparency:

The base salary for this position ranges between $80,000 to $110,000. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
