Job Responsibilities

The South Carolina Office of Resilience is seeking a hardworking and dependable candidate just like you to apply! Develop and Manage the Data Coordination and Advanced Analytics program. Supervise and coordinate employees tasked with developing coordination program and data analytics. Incorporate data and information into the update of Strategic Statewide Resilience and Risk Reduction Plan. Assist the Resilience Planning director and Grant Administrator in seeking grant opportunities that implement the Statewide Resilience Plan. Support Data needs of the Watershed Planning Program. The job duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:Supervises staff to include preparing performance planning and evaluation documents and related personnel paperwork. Coaches, counsels and trains employees. Establishes and monitors work processes. Implements management policies and initiatives and promotes teamwork.Develop Data Coordination process lo be used by SCOR and external stakeholders in delivering programs.Assist the Resilience Planning director and Grant Administrator In seeking grant opportunities that implement the Watershed and Statewide Resilience Plans.Coordinate team activities with watershed coordinators tasked with developing regional watershed resilience plans. Incorporate data into watershed plans and update of Strategic Statewide Resilience and Risk Reduction Plan.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of an agency's mission, programs, and objectives. Knowledge of management principles. Knowledge of an agency's organizational structure, the people who manage the work, and the processes applicable to government work.Ability to interpret and apply rules and regulations. Ability to manage work and provide guidance to employees. Ability to make presentations and prepare reports.Knowledge of Data and information used in Resilience Planning.
