We are offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus for this role.Our coveted Hilton/Doubletree Brand hotel is under brand new ownership & management. We are looking for talented hospitality professionals to manage our 414 guestrooms, 30,500 square feet of meeting space including an Executive Meeting Center. In addition to a $2,500 sign-on bonus, we offer medical, dental & vision benefits, paid time off and complimentary employee meals & parking.We are located in the heart of downtown Omaha with easy access to interstates I-480 and I-80; 10 minutes from the Eppley Airport. With Omahas Historic Old Market, CHI Health Center, TC Ameritrade Park, Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, Carter Lake, Ameristar Casino and Botanical Gardens nearby, you will be in the center of all the action.Will you be our next team member?Job Summary:As a Group Sales Manager, you will fill a vital role in supporting your hotels financial goals through selling guestrooms, catering services and banquet facilities through direct client contact to maximize total rooms revenues. This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.Essential Functions:Be incredibly friendly, customer centric, love to smile and have FUN in a team environment.Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business through sales efforts that include, in person sales calls, telephone/internet prospecting, building client relationships, referral business & networking.Ensure that predetermined sales expectations are met or exceeded.Establish client base for specific market segments to include corporations, associations, and social groups in order to secure business for the hotel.Prepare proposals and contracts for client review.Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, food & beverage minimums and hotel services within approved booking guidelines.Conduct site inspection tours of the hotel and banquet facilities; entertains qualified potential clients in accordance with company and property policies and procedures.Requirements:Hilton brand experience a plus.One or more years of experience in Hotel Group Sales. (Special consideration will be given to those who exhibit a proven track record of exemplary sales performance in similar business fields with strong sales abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills, and guest centric management practices.)System Requirements:Possesses software knowledge (Microsoft Office, etc.).Delphi FDC sales system knowledge is a plus.Benefits:
