Senior Manager
to serve as a catalyst for continued expansion as a member of our nationally distributed team. You will have the flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity across multiple office locations or possibly remote for the right resource, with travel for specific projects as needed.As a Senior Manager, you will:Lead a team of professionals to deliver consulting services to multiple client relationships.Participate in all stages of various consulting engagements and assist with planning, field work, engagement wrap up and deliverable composition.Identify client needs and foster strong relationships through business development efforts.Develop team members through constructive and actionable feedback.Manage project resources, budgets, billing, and collections.Prepare and/or present thought leadership through complex written and verbal materials.Your passion for excellent client service will be demonstrated through the diligent assessment of the “current state” of our client’s Corporate Accounting and Finance departments to help transition to their desired “future state.”What you bring to the role:Bachelor's degree in Accounting and active CPA license (strongly preferred).Seven (7) or more years of experience within a public accounting firm and/or industry environment performing audit, accounting or consulting services.Demonstrated experience with business development/expansion of services.Experience in an environment with SAP, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workday, Yardi or Quickbooks.Ability to lead cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvements.Experience conducting process mapping and analysis.Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple initiatives.Robust written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with a focus on details and accuracy.Travel as needed for firm meetings and client site visits up to 25%.What we offer you:Our shared values that foster inclusion and belonging.The opportunity to innovate and do work that motivates and engages you.A collaborative environment focused on your career growth and continuous professional development.Competitive compensation and a total rewards package.Flexibility to do impactful work and the time to enjoy your life outside of work.About Cherry BekaertCherry Bekaert, ranked among the largest assurance, tax and advisory firms in the U.S., serves clients across industries in all 50 U.S. states and internationally.
