We are seeking a skilled

Test Stand Developer / LabVIEW Programmer

to join our team in Windsor Locks, CT. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in modernizing our test rig hardware and documentation while driving continuous improvements in test processes and equipment effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our automated test equipment (ATE) meets the highest standards of efficiency and reliability.Key Responsibilities:

Modernization:

Upgrade and enhance test rig hardware, ensuring alignment with the latest industry standards.Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for test rig Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) protocols.Process Improvement:

Identify and implement strategies to optimize test processes, driving improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Production Support:

Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to test equipment and processes.Collaboration:

Work with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of ATE systems with existing infrastructure.Required Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.Technical Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) architecture, including hardware, software, and process management.LabVIEW Proficiency:

Proven experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments (NI) cards in developing and deploying ATE systems.Hardware Experience:

Familiarity with VME and VXI chassis and cards, including the ability to develop and troubleshoot ATE hardware.Communication Protocols:

Experience working with bus standards such as GPIB, RS-232, RS-424, CAN, and AFDX.Documentation Skills:

Strong ability to document processes and procedures, particularly in TPM and test process improvements.US Citizenship:

Must be a U.S. citizen due to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) restrictions.Why Join Us?
