A well-established publishing and book wholesale distribution company with a 45-year history is seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager. This is a unique opportunity to lead all I.T. operations within a trusted and stable organization.WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As the Information Technology Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all I.T. related systems. Your key duties will include:Data Security & Backup:
Ensure data security and implement backup and recovery procedures that are regularly monitored.Network Security:
Establish and maintain security policies to govern access to data, operating systems, and applications.Software Infrastructure:
Oversee the reliable operation of software, including network security, operating systems, productivity applications, and communication systems.Hardware Maintenance:
Ensure the reliable operation of all hardware, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and telephone systems.System Updates:
Keep software updated in a timely manner.Procurement:
Project costs, purchase, and install new hardware and software efficiently.Support & Training:
Provide desktop support and train staff to effectively use software and hardware.REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience managing a computer network, along with the following skills:Server Administration:
Server 2019, Basic Linux, T-SQLDesktop Support:
Microsoft Office 365, Printer maintenanceDevelopment:
