Threat Analyst Co-Op - Spring 2025Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the mission.The Role:Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Threat Analyst Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. We are also open to candidates based near our Aurora, IL or Chaska, MN sites.As a Cyber Threat Analyst, you will:Monitor and assess potential threats and respond to active threats on a proactive and reactive basis, to safeguard the Infrastructure, data, and reputation of our Organization.Improve overall Cyber defense posture through Threat Detection and response, vulnerability management, and Security engineering.What You'll Do:Monitor and assess security incidents, threats, and risks.Handle Cyber incidents, document and assist in remediation efforts.Develop processes and procedures related to incident response.Conduct research on vulnerabilities and analyze relevant threats.Build countermeasures in response to threats.Support vulnerability management.Help implement the Cyber Security Roadmap.Provide engineering, operational, and on-call support.Coordinate with other Security Analysts.What We Seek:Bachelor's degree in technology.Project work or prior experience in Cyber Security Operations domains.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Multi-tasking and ability to prioritize tasks.Good communication skills and inclination to partner with stakeholders to meet common goals.Outstanding Candidates Will Have:Strong understanding of Cyber Security Threat Landscape.Think like an attacker mindset to improve Cyber Defense posture.Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:Bachelor's degree in technology with specialization in Computer Science and/or Cyber Security.What We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
