Our site in Billerica is seeking a/an Applications Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration from January - June 2025.In this role you will:Perform membrane level tests focusing on understanding the filtration/purification characteristics of membranes for different types of contaminants.Assist Applications team in ongoing projects with testing and evaluation of existing/new membranes and products.Collect, interpret and review the experimental data regularly with the team.Review and research literature for the project, design a test plan and review it with your mentor.Draw sound scientific conclusions based on data analysis.Use critical thinking and problem solving to determine next steps for the project.You're a good fit if you have:Detail-oriented and able to solve complex problems using a methodical approach.Excellent laboratory skills with a focus on safety.Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced working environment.Practical experience in handling chemicals, operating laboratory equipment, and working with acids, bases, and solvents.Familiarity with Microsoft Excel to review large amounts of data and draw sound conclusions.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Desired Majors:Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering or similar discipline.Graduation date: May 2025 or later.What We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
