With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.Job Description SummaryResponsible for providing asset management capabilities to Northern Trust Wealth Advisors, positioning FlexShares ETFs, Northern Multi Asset Class Solutions, Northern Funds, SMAs & Alternatives in the marketplace. Also responsible for establishing new relationships, growing/servicing existing client relationships and assisting with procuring new opportunities. You must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with all areas of business within Northern Trust.Major Duties:Develop, cultivate and manage relationships – both existing and new – to achieve and exceed sales targets.Lead tactical initiatives to grow the use of FlexShares ETFs, Northern Multi Asset Class Solutions, Northern Funds, SMA’s & alternatives.Effectively position and differentiate FlexShares ETFs, Northern Multi Asset Class Solutions, Northern Funds, SMAs & Alternative products and services against competitors’ products, by utilizing strong investment, capital markets and investment management industry knowledge.Develop and maintain relationships with advisors by in-person, video, voice & digital communication.Travel as needed to the Wealth offices in your region. (25-50%)Report weekly activities, accomplishments, and opportunities through the CRM.Partner within a regional team structure.As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.Maintain balance between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities.Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of investment management areas across all products and segments such as fixed income, active and passive equities, cash, securities, alternatives and international together with other Northern products and services, usually acquired through related work experience, is required to respond to client's needs. Solid sales ability and channel/firm platform knowledge. Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to sell over the phone and in person. Strong work ethic, motivated and committed to excellence. Ability to work in a team environment.Experience:A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required.5+ years of investment industry experience and direct sales and territory management experience with an ETF, mutual fund, separate account, or alternatives distributor preferred.Series 7 & 63/65/66 required.Working with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
