Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant
position at LRE Water's
Denver headquarters . This role requires a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the AR Accountant will support our growing organization, which spans multiple offices throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to meeting the needs of our staff and clients, applying their accounting knowledge effectively across various responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Responsible for accounts receivable and overseeing client billing
Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
Monitoring and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients
Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipts and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger
Contact past due accounts, not just to collect the money, but to investigate "why" and attempt to correct or reconcile the problem
Audit AR reports and bank statements for proper revenue recognition
Prepare complex invoices for clients
Company Credit Card Reconciliation
Assist with multi-state sales and use tax
Ensure accounting procedures are up to date
Complete special projects as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
B.S. in Accounting
Four plus years of accounting experience
Must have attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple projects
Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
Aptitude for working independently and within a team in a collaborative environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs and must have advanced Excel skills
Strong Mathematical skills
Experience in analyzing business performance and developing financial plans within a manufacturing or telecomms environment desirable
Understanding of basic principles of finance and accounting
Desired Qualifications
Experience in the professional service consulting industry
Experience with Deltek ERP software
Experience with cost accounting
Experience with client invoicing
CPA license is preferred, but not required.
Total Compensation:
The starting salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000/annually depending upon years of experience and education. Pay is negotiable for a higher level of experience. LRE Water reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted salary range depending on experience. LRE Water also distributes bonuses and 401(k) contributions based on annual company profitability. Employer paid benefits increase total compensation by approximately 20%. Additionally, LRE Water supports training and professional development activities for all staff and offers discretionary bonus opportunities as recognition for performance, earning a professional credential, speaking engagements or publication.
Flexible/Hybrid Work Options:
LRE Water offers a hybrid work environment that promotes flexibility for our employees and encourages work/life balance. This role will be based out of the Denver, Colorado office with the flexibility to work 1 to 2 days/week remotely.
