This role requires a seasoned professional with a formidable history of generating significant portable revenue and a deep understanding of cybersecurity and risk management.The selected partner will assume a pivotal role in propelling the firm's cybersecurity and risk practice to new heights. In this capacity, the General Cybersecurity and Risk Partner will be entrusted with a range of critical responsibilities:Formulating and executing a strategic blueprint to expand the firm's footprint in the cybersecurity and risk arena, including the identification of prospective clients and lucrative business opportunities.Providing expert legal counsel on matters related to cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management to clients.Supervising a proficient team of associates and paralegals, ensuring the delivery of top-notch legal services.Navigating complex litigation and regulatory challenges within the realm of cybersecurity and risk management.Fostering collaboration with other practice areas within the firm to offer comprehensive legal solutions.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity and risk management law and demonstrate a proven track record of generating portable revenue exceeding $200,000. Strong business development acumen is imperative, along with exceptional legal research, writing, and negotiation skills. Leadership capabilities, honed through prior experience in managing legal teams, are highly valued. Success in handling high-stakes cybersecurity and risk-related cases is a prerequisite, as is the ability to work harmoniously with other partners and attorneys within the firm.Active membership and good standing in the California State Bar are essential qualifications. Educational requirements for this role include a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor's degree in a related field.
