Qualifications:
Education and Training: R.N. with BSN/or health related degree with a current West Virginia license.
Experience: Two years’ experience in the field of nursing.
Job Responsibilities:
Under general direction, provides nursing care of patients and supervises patient care in the ambulatory care setting to include plans and oversees staff nursing activities, patient flow, patient education, ordering of supplies, adherence to infection control and other policies, procedures, standards, and regulations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Plans, organizes and oversees staff to provide patient care.
Evaluates care and ensures customer satisfaction.
Oversees the daily nurse staffing requirements for all sites of the organization.
Orients clinical staff to their job responsibilities.
Provides leadership in clinical problem solving.
Assists with nurse recruitment and the hiring process.
Ensures an orientation plan for new nursing staff members and provides timely feedback.
Evaluates and schedules in services/training as needed; serves as liaison with providers.
Ensures nursing activities, policies and records are in adherence to various licensing and regulatory requirements.
Maintains clinical skill and knowledge necessary to set standard and work in the ambulatory care setting.
Assists with patient’s examinations and/or questions when needed.
Implements, interprets and assists in developing organizational policies and procedures, and nursing standards and regulations.
Monitors tracking systems and recall systems in place in the electronic medical record.
Monitors the BCCSP, Family Planning and VFC program and other clinical programs.
Oversees all immunization requirements and documentation.
May be requested to attend Community Functions to increase awareness of Camden on Gauley Medical Centers Health’s programs and services.
Oversee planning of scheduling of nursing staff.
Prepare paperwork for payroll and employee leave or assist when needed.
Will be required to cover nursing schedules during nursing shortages when no other options are available.
All Camden Family Health staff will follow all Corporate Compliance policies and participate in all required trainings.
Participates as a member of the patient Care Team by using the CFH Care Team Communication Process for receiving, sending and documenting all patient related information and tasks with other Care Team members.
Other duties as assigned.
