POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the company's Nursing Services in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all time.Hours:

Full Time - Monday Through Friday - 8 am to 4 pmLocation:

Pensacola, FL 32504At Addus we offer our team the best:Medical, Dental and Vision BenefitsContinued EducationMonthly BonusPTO PlanRetirement PlanningLife InsuranceEmployee discountsEssential Duties:Responsible for the supervision and oversight of all patient care services including the development of personnel qualifications and the assignment of personnelManages agency nursing personnel and contracted servicesFollows up with patients to assess patient satisfaction with the company servicesDirects in-services, case conferences, and staff meetingsEnsures that the Agency operates in compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation standardsEnsures that the policies and procedures reflect quality and safe delivery of home health and home care servicesMaintains and implements standards of careRepresents home health on various committeesEnsures quality care that is consistent with organizational and regulatory standardsPerforms home visits and in-services as neededAssumes ultimate responsibility for outcomes related to the performance of the nursing staff and professional developmentMaintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive informationMaintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the departmentFollows all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirementsAbides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standardsPerforms other duties as assignedPosition Requirements & Competencies:Strong Preferred: HCHB Super User, Experience with external audits & Documented ability to grow Home Health censusBachelor degree in Nursing required from an accredited college or universityMust possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Delaware.Must possess a valid and unrestricted Driver's License, proof of insurance, and clean driving recordMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageMust be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
