Defense Civilian Training Corps (DCTC) Program Management Lead
supporting the Acquisition Policy & Innovation Directorate within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition and Sustainment) (OUSD (A&S)). In this critical role, you will provide essential administrative and management support for the DCTC, overseeing a mission valued at approximately $25M annually.Your responsibilities will include coordinating and managing DCTC initiatives to bridge critical skills gaps in defense-related careers, aligning with national defense strategies, and supporting the selection of future DCTC program universities. You'll work closely with senior leadership to ensure program objectives are met, tracking milestones, preparing briefings (CONOPS, IPRs, etc.) for senior leaders and Congressional staff, and coordinating senior engagements between Senior Executive Service (SES) members within OUSD (A&S) and key leaders across the DoD.Ideal candidates will possess strong program management expertise, adeptness in developing strategic communications, and proficiency in utilizing various software tools including Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Required Experience & SkillsProgram Management ExperienceUnderstanding of UARC and FFRDC ManagementEffective verbal and written communicationAble to effectively brief Flag Officers, General Officers, Senior Executive Service membersAt least two years’ experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Explorer, Edge, SharePoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat ProfessionalDesired Skills & ExperienceExperience with Adobe Acrobat Professional, A&S Intranet and SharePoint sites, DoD Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).Additional Information
