LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical AR Specialist for our healthcare client located near Downtown Portland. This will be a long-term contract opportunity for our client and 100% onsite, full-time hours. Interested candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience and feel comfortable jumping right into our client's backend AR backlog!This position will be focused on the backend of the medical billing cycle, assisting in aged AR accounts, analyzing and resolving denials, and assisting with collections for overdue accounts. Interested candidates must be well-versed in all insurance types, especially OR Medicaid.Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years medical billing/AR experienceProficiency within Microsoft Office and EMR SystemsMedical Billing/Coding Certification desired (not required)Skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesCan meet productivity metrics as outlined by managementAble to work well as an independent producer but also in a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of all insurance payers, especially OR MedicaidPay Details:
