We're seeking a smart and eager Property Accountant to manage financial reporting for a set of properties, working alongside the Group Controller.Location:
Stamford, CT
Work Modality:
100% in-office
Compensation:
$80,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience)Key Responsibilities
Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closingsPrepare financial statements (GAAP, Tax, and Fair Value basis)Assist with reporting to management, investors, and lendersSupport annual audits with independent CPA firmsOversee cash flow, budgets, and expense approvalsManage CAM/Tax reconciliations and sales tax filingsOversee lease administration, AR, and AP functionsPerform ad hoc reporting as neededQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field3+ years of experience in commercial real estate accountingSolid understanding of GAAP, Fair Value, and Tax basis accountingExperience with Real Estate Industry Software (Yardi, MRI)What the client offers
