Advocate modern DevOps practicesCloud Migration: Assist in the migration of services to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Problem-Solving: Provide third-line support during incident mitigation and investigationSkills You'll Need:Linux Expertise: Sensible knowledge of Linux fundamentalsProgramming Proficiency: Proficiency with at least one language (e.g. Java, Python, Scala) and shell scriptingAutomation Experience: Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms like Teamcity, Jenkins, or GitHub ActionsCloud Technology: Extensive experience with major cloud providers/technologies, GCP is a strong plusContainerization: Solid experience with containerization and clustering technologies (docker/k8s), including supportive ones (helm). Monitoring & Reporting: Hands-on experience with logging, monitoring & alerting tools (e.g. LGTM stack, Splunk)Skills That Will Help You Excel:Cluster & Server Management: Operational experience with distributed services deployment (e.g. with reliance on Apache Zookeeper, etcd)Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with Hadoop stack, Apache Spark, and analytical database systems (e.g. Clickhouse/BigQuery/Exadata)Enterprise Cloud Tools: Experience with OpenShift (plus), hybrid on-prem/cloud setups (like Google Anthos) - strongest plusMessage Brokers: Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ/IBM MQNoSQL Database Systems: Experience with Redis, Hazelcast/Ignite is a plusExpectations:It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location, and other qualifications.
