Accounting Manager - Direct Hire - Hybrid SchedulePosition Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage property management accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the commercial real estate sector, with a particular focus on property management. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for property management portfolios.

Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:Assist in the development and monitoring of property budgets and financial forecasts.

Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.

Account Reconciliation:Oversee reconciliation of property management accounts, including bank accounts, tenant ledgers, and vendor accounts.

Resolve discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.

Accounts Payable/Receivable:Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including the review and approval of invoices, and ensure timely payment to vendors and collection from tenants.

Coordinate with property managers to address billing and payment issues.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years in commercial property accounting within the commercial real estate industry.

Strong understanding of commercial real estate accounting principles and property management practices.

Proficient in accounting software and property management systems (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar platforms).

Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Pay Details:
