TEAM LEAD OF PATIENT REGISTRATION
to join our team!
General responsibilities include:
Monitors day-to-day activities including pre-registration, insurance eligibility and verification, preauthorization and registration functions for consistency and accuracy.
Assures that all reception staff greets, registers and directs patients in a professional manner.
Responsible for obtaining and maintaining complete and accurate registration records.
HOURS:
This position is Full Time; 1.0 FTE or 80 hours per pay period.
Experience/Qualifications:
Knowledge of office standards and procedures normally acquired through a high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Two years of office experience, preferably in a medical facility.
Completion of a medical terminology course preferred.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of computer skills, chart heading machines and other information system equipment beneficial.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, under pressure, with time restraints.
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with providers, patients, staff and the public.
