SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital.
Duties include, but are not limited to:Assists RN and physician during operative and invasive proceduresCleans and sterilizes surgical instrumentsEnsures availability and condition of supplies.This position will work in the OR and Endoscopy.We are willing to train the right candidate who is committed to learning the competencies of the surgical technologist profession!EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.One year of healthcare/patient care experience required.Former operating room surgical tech experience or a graduate of a surgical tech program strongly preferred.BLS certification preferred.Hours:
This position is Full Time; 1.0 FTE or 80 hours per pay period.
