Job Title:
Director of Respiratory TherapyDirects the programs and staff of the respiratory therapy department. Develops and implements respiratory care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Responsibilities:Perform a variety of tasks related to respiratory therapy.Lead and direct the work of others.Utilize creativity and latitude in decision-making.Report to top management.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree required; may require an advanced degree.Professional certification.At least 7-10 years of direct experience in the field.Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
