Director of Respiratory TherapyDirects the programs and staff of the respiratory therapy department. Develops and implements respiratory care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Responsibilities:Perform a variety of tasks related to respiratory care.Lead and direct the work of others.Report to top management.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required.May require an advanced degree and professional certification.At least 7 - 10 years of direct experience in the field.Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
