Staff Pharmacist – Per DiemEast Los Angeles Doctor's HospitalLos Angeles, CAAs a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist at East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital (ELADH), you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy. This position may also provide coverage at Community Hospital of Huntington Park.Schedule:
This per diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage for staff PTO and as needed 1-2 days/week (including weekends) up to 19 hours/week. This position will also provide coverage at Community Hospital of Huntington Park as needed. East LA Hospital pharmacy hours are Monday-Thursday from 7:00am-8:00pm and Friday-Sunday and holidays from 7:30am-4:00pm. Community Hospital of Huntington Park pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am-6:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am-4:00pm.Pay Range:
$60-$74/hour based on experienceRequired Qualifications:Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferredCurrent California Pharmacist license in good standingSuccessful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program strongly preferred1+ years of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred, new grads are acceptableAbility to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concernsDemonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work settingExperience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systemsEffective communications skills; verbal and writtenBenefits:
