Our client, a leading provider of low voltage technology solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior ICT Engineer
to join their dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical expertise and leadership across a variety of low voltage projects, including structured cabling, ICT infrastructure, audio-visual systems, security systems, and telecommunications. This is an excellent opportunity to work independently while collaborating with a talented team, providing innovative solutions for diverse clients.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of low voltage systems, including structured cabling, ICT infrastructure, AV, security, and telecommunications.Develop and manage ICT system architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.Oversee end-to-end project execution, from planning through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.Provide technical support and direction to project managers, engineers, technicians, and clients, ensuring effective system integration and implementation.Conduct remote site assessments and develop detailed system designs that meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards.Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, installation procedures, and project reports.Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and client expectations.Participate in project meetings, providing expert technical advice and ensuring all teams are aligned in meeting project goals.Keep up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in ICT and low voltage systems, implementing improvements and innovations as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.Over 5 years of experience in low voltage systems design, ICT infrastructure, and project management.Strong expertise in structured cabling, ICT systems, audio-visual solutions, security systems, and telecommunications.Proficient in industry-standard ICT design software and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to manage projects remotely and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.This is a fully remote position, with occasional travel to project sites as required.
