This role is ideal for someone with basic technical skills who is eager to learn and grow in the field of low-voltage systems integration. The Assistant Integrator will work closely with senior team members to ensure that systems are integrated effectively and operate according to project specifications.Candidate must have solid transportation and be willing to undergo a background check and drug testing.The Location(s):

$50k-$60kKey Responsibilities:Support System Design & Integration:

Attend site walks and meetings with potential customers to understand system design requirementsAssist in the creation of system integration plans and diagramsHelp in the selection and preparation of equipment and materials for installationProvide support in integrating various low voltage systems under the guidance of senior integrators

Assist in the installation, wiring, cabling, and termination of low voltage systems.Help configure and program systems such as security, access control, CCTV, fire alarms, audio-visual, and IT systemsParticipate in testing and troubleshooting systems to ensure proper operationProject Coordination:

Work alongside project managers and senior integrators to execute installation schedulesCoordinate with vendors and other team members to ensure all necessary tools and materials are availableDocument installation activities and maintain accurate project records

Customer Support:

Provide basic technical support to clients, including assisting with troubleshooting system issuesAssist in conducting client training sessions on system operation and maintenanceFollow up with clients to ensure their systems are functioning as intended

Compliance & Safety:

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures during all phases of installation and maintenanceEnsure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulationsParticipate in training sessions to stay updated on industry standards and best practices

Experience and Qualifications:Education:

High school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical training or certification in electronics, electrical systems, or a related field is a plus

Experience:

1+ year of experience in a technical or installation role, preferably in low voltage systemsBasic understanding of low voltage systems such as security, access control, CCTV, or audio-visual systems is preferred

Skills:

Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in low voltage systems integrationAbility to read and understand basic wiring diagrams and technical manualsGood problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication and teamwork skills

Certifications:

Entry-level certifications in low voltage systems or electronics (e.g., BICSI, AVIXA) are a plus but not required.Must be DCJS certified or be able to obtain a DCJS certification
