As an integral part of this journey, The Digital Services organization in Danfoss is building and delivering innovative digital service offerings to the market.We are looking for a Senior Software Sales Specialist to define and execute sales strategies for our Alsense Cloud suite in North America. If you want to join a dynamic and fast-growing organization on a mission to innovate digital solutions that enable reduction of energy use, food waste, and much more, then this is the right time to join!Job ResponsibilitiesYou will collaborate with both global and regional teams to develop and execute sales-related activities, including:Account and sales planning to support pipeline growth and to increase the annual recurring revenueBuild and present product proposals in close collaboration with account managersNegotiate contracts, close new agreements, and upsell to existing customersMaintain and build customer relationships at senior levelsStay up to speed with relevant technologies, competitors, and market conditionsUpdate regional sales team and partner network on new products and featuresOther duties as assignedYou should expect to work mostly from home with virtual teams from North America and Europe, plus travel for meetings with customers and attending conferences and exhibitions (up to 20%).What is Digital Services in Danfoss?The world is changing fast towards DIGITAL, creating new opportunities across industries, technologies, and geographies for Danfoss. Even if you do not check all the boxes, we encourage you to apply anyway.The ideal candidate possesses these skills:Required (basic) qualifications:A minimum of 5 years' experience with SaaS sales and/or sales support, and the ability to explain key benefits, trade-offs, and value propositions relating to IoT and SaaS Solutions. Most importantly, you have a passion for SaaS and solutions that support the green transition.Preferred qualifications:A proven track record of defining and selling SaaS solutions to meet customer needs. Additionally, you should have a deep understanding of the retail industry (preferably Food Retail). Your education can be either technical or commercial, but we prefer a bachelor's degree within a relevant field.Job Criteria:You are self-motivated and have excellent collaboration skills, strong empathy, and the ability to work with multiple cultures. You can look at problems from different points of view and find solutions that meet the needs of the customers.
