Portland, Oregon - Office HybridThe RoleThe Costing function plays a critical role in Hoka’s overall success and profitability by understanding the cost of each component of our products, developing reporting tools to manage these costs, and identify opportunities to create efficiencies.In this role, you will learn to be a key contributor to help manage Hoka’s overall profitability by helping to create and evolve seasonal FOB targets to project short and long-range product costing.We work across the Product Creation teams (Product Line Management, Product Development, Design, Materials Development, Sourcing, Supply Planning and Asia Costing) to provide day to day costing expertise, identify, prioritize, and implement cost savings initiatives to ensuring what doesn’t add value to our consumers does not remain in the shoe.We celebrate diversity--of your background, your experiences and your unique identity. Your ImpactThe primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:Maintain and analyze cross-brand costing reports. This includes updating Inline & SMU Pricers and validating Cost Breakdown Summary details in FlexPLM system.Analyze seasonal line exception report to confirm costing data in FlexPLM, including retail price, forecast, and duty rate to report accurate seasonal margin.Maintain the cost database and ensure proper flow of cost data to downstream systems.Learn brand financials including Merchandise Financial Plan, KPI’s, and targets through assistance of the team.Work with Product Creation Teams to learn product costing, construction, commercialization, and the Go to Market process.Support Product Development to review Cost Breakdown Sheets and teardown notes for assigned category.Perform Ad-hoc reporting and analytics.Who You AreThe ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a deadline driven environment and is proficient with MS Excel at an advanced level.Ability to self-manage the timeline and deadlines.Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results.Communicates with honesty and kindness and creates the space for others to do the same. Fosters connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships.Integrates fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take themselves too seriously.Demonstration of innovation and initiative, willing to explore new processes while maintaining focus on the regular tasks that need to be completed.We’d love to hear from people withBachelor's degree preferred with an emphasis on financial or business analysis, or equivalent work experience.2+ years’ Analyst level work experience.Strong Excel & Microsoft Office skills.Exposure to FlexPLM or similar Product Creation Management system preferred.General Knowledge of financial business reporting and price modeling.Effective communicator and team player with ability to work closely with cross-functional areas.Familiar with athletic footwear construction, manufacturing, materials, and product creation process is a plus but not required.What We'll Give YouCompetitive Pay and Bonuses -
