Develop, design, and deliver complex CNC machines (mill-turn and 5 axis machines) in different controlled base NC (Siemens, Fanuc, Heindenhain, OKuma) using the company proprietary CNC verification/simulation software for customer production projects to fit simulation behavior of real CNC machine, avoiding crashes, saving customers time and money. Design and validate the CNC machine and understand its kinematics, program it to customer’s needs, and simulate and optimize the G and M codes. Keep track of delays, quality and customer satisfaction during and after deliveries of the virtual machine. Create CAD modeling of machine kinematics for virtual machines based on real time measurements. Interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Assist in the design of jigs, tools, fixtures, and special equipment for CNC applications. Optimize existing NC programs to reduce machining time and increase productivity using different optimization techniques (optimize Feed rate and air cuts). Assist the team and resellers by preparing NCSIMUL presentations and targeted demonstrations for prospective end users and their senior managements. Recommend technical solutions. Provide training and maintain Virtual Machine development knowledge with the R&D team. Manage projects, including setting up data collection processes, following up with customers, and planning and delivering projects each at a different milestone throughout the project life span, from the quote to the post training customer service. Adapt the company's processes, project management, and support guidelines to the US market. Participate in workshops to ensure better quality of deliveries and services. Develop quarterly services invoicing planning for services including, but not limited, to virtual machine and post processor delivery, training, and onsite machine modeling. Work closely with customers to help their manufacturing process to aid in the implementation of the software. Provide machining guidance to company personnel as needed. Provide customer support in all disciplines of the software like technical installation, simulation, licenses, tool database, and optimization. Help customers with troubleshooting manufacturing problems and implement solutions to keep machines producing conforming parts and make tool design improvements. Perform customer startup training and transfer of technical knowledge of the product on new CNC equipment at the customer's facility. Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. May work from home. The position requires less than 5% domestic and international travel to provide software training, installation, or digital twin machine builds as well as to receive internal trainings.Qualifications

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in the offered position or related position.SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be “quantified” by “time”. Required expertise/knowledge includes:Experience with Solidworks and NX for design purposes.Experience with CAM software, including MasterCam.Experience with logging software bugs and customer issues for project management.Experience with storing and logging information.OTHER:
