Description:

The Net Working Capital Manager supervises and monitors the collection of revenues. In addition, this position will evaluate the creditworthiness of current and prospective customers to set the appropriate credit limits for such exposures. This position will provide support to teams in reviewing, researching and investigating claims in accordance with the mission, vision and values of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for directing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable team, on-shore and off-shore. Train and coach team members within the department.

Establish, review, and update credit policies and procedures that are aligned with corporate objectives.

Responsible for management of AR staff duties, including performance reviews, career development, goals and objectives, training programs and budget.

Determine collectability of past due accounts and engage customers at operational and management levels.

Perform credit investigation of new accounts through Dun & Bradstreet, Internet and customer provided credit and financial data.

Make credit decisions within assigned authority.

Interface with various intercompany departments to resolve credit issues and disputes regarding shipments, products, or purchase order discrepancies.

Lead responsibility for customer dispute mitigation and resolutions; including payment workouts.

Demonstrate executive presence and articulate with senior management.

Run and analyze month-end receivable aging reports.

Perform other assigned duties as related to the credit function.

Support and participate in continuous improvement activities that positively affect safety, the environment, quality, reliability, and productivity or improve the overall suitability and effectiveness of the management system, its processes and products.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or other related fields.

Ten or more years of commercial credit work experience.

Analytical thinker, and great Excel skills.

Comprehensive understanding of credit reporting and business information resources (D&B, Manta and internet search engines).

Ability to demonstrate initiative and manage multiple priorities.

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.

Successful in dealing with customer and company personnel at all levels.

Working knowledge in Microsoft Office products.

Background in SalesForce.com and SAP desirable.

Nice to have experience managing off-shore shared services.
