Reconcile periodic, quarter, and annual payroll tax withholding dataCommunicate amendment needs with ADP & monitor to ensure accuracy and timelinessMonitor & assign as needed employee’s state and local tax electionsWork with ADP as needed to set up new tax IDs for new state and local jurisdictionsProcess W-2 corrections as needed & ensure accurate and timely filingEnsure compliance for timely and accurate reporting of all payroll taxes.Track refunds based on amendments by ADPCreate manual payments to correct payments from past pay periodsMaintain changes in unemployment rates in ADP Smart Compliance & in WorkdayMaintain states entity information on ADP Smart ComplianceFulfill Tax Reporting RequestsRespond to federal and state tax and wage inquiriesResearch & respond to employee inquiries regarding tax withholdings and W2sReconcile tax reporting and payments made throughout the calendar year to the W-2 fileAssist with analyzing merger, divestiture and acquisition activity for tax entity impacts and implementing resulting actions as neededAssist with the reconciling of tax accounts with Payroll Tax Accounting personnel and ability to analyze and take corrective actions as necessaryStay up to date with labor, tax, and payroll regulationsAssist with payroll processing & auditing as necessaryRequirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 5 years of payroll experienceExperience with payroll software systems such as ADP, Workday, etc.Proficient with Excel (vlookup, pivot, etc.)Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully working with cross-functional business stakeholdersExcellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracyPreferred Requirements
