Responsibilities
Demonstrate effectiveness in program development in low-resource, high-needs communities. Competence in working and teaching in Native American communities. Provide employee department support and understanding of different programs within the Behavioral Health environment. Able to supervise for licensure of LPCC, LISW and LADAC. Oversee Medical Records Policies and Procedures to ensure HIPAA compliance. Maintain a positive and productive work environment. Knowledge of applicable federal, state, county and local laws, regulations and requirements. Knowledge of traditional forms of government and pueblo customs and traditions. Skilled in preparation of administration budgets and financial reports. Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Education
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Community Mental Health or related fields. Experience in community-based behavioral health, mental health, alcohol/substance abuse/addiction programs in rural communities, community health programs and mental health care delivery. Certification, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
LISW, MFCC, LPCC, PhD in the state of New Mexico. Employer paid Medical, Dental, Vision and insurance for the immediate employee. 401k Employer match. Company vehicle. Location
Job Summary
Develops, organizes, directs and evaluates program activities of the Behavioral Health Departments and Community Health Resources to meet the needs of patients, families, employees and providers. Programs include services to the Native American population of surrounding areas and area school districts. Surrounding Pueblos that we serve are: Jemez, Zia, Santa Ana, and Cochiti.
