Daikin Applied is seeking a talented

Technical Infrastructure Lead . The Technical Infrastructure Lead will be responsible for the design, administration, and support of infrastructure implementations. Under limited supervision, the position provides direct technical leadership for all requirements in the planning, design, architect, coordination, programming, and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to infrastructure and information systems, hardware, software, transaction monitors, and the range of products and productivity tools that support testing and production environments. What you will do:

Team Lead: Mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure the team's success and professional development

Infrastructure Design and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and plan complex IT infrastructure solutions that meet the company's current and future needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices

Lead technology, product selection, laying out infrastructure roadmap, enterprise-wide implementation and responsibility for purchase justification

Implementation and Deployment: Oversee the implementation and deployment of IT infrastructure initiatives, projects including Azure cloud-based solutions, Windows and Linux environments, hardware, software, network, and SQL database

Establish and recommend policies and standards on system use and services

Design, build and enhance tooling and automation solutions for faster resolution using Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps methodologies

Observability: Implement enterprise observability-AIOps technology and processes. Establish and automate proactive monitoring and maintenance processes to identify and address issues, and performance bottlenecks

System Administration: Manage, automate, maintain the company's IT systems, including servers, networks, storage, database, and security infrastructure, to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security

Security and Compliance: Design and implement Solutions based on provided security controls and enforce security standards

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization of IT infrastructure and systems, and lead initiatives to implement changes that enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability

Level 3 escalation for Infrastructure team. Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end

Vendor Management: Evaluate and select third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business needs

Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures; and provide regular reports and updates to management

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science or similar

8+ years of experience leading Infrastructure platform design, architect, and implementation projects

5+ years of experience with Azure Cloud architecture

5+ years of experience with Microsoft based server operating systems and virtualization technology Hyper-V

4+ years of experience with Azure AD/Entra ID, domain controller, Active Directory management and design

4+ years of experience building and enhancing tooling and automation solutions for faster resolution using Site Reliability Engineering

4+ years of experience with Scripting and automation utilization tools like PowerShell, Ansible, Python, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet

4+ years of experience with Linux based server operating system

4+ years of experience with Hyper Converged Infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of network, firewall technologies

Working knowledge of SharePoint, M365 and MS Teams

Working knowledge of SQL Infrastructure

Working knowledge of SSL/TLS certificate

Working knowledge of Backup technologies like Azure backup, Veritas netbackup

Manufacturing experience
