Loss Mitigation Specialist

Description:The Specialist, Loss Mitigation Document is responsible for processing servicing loan documents in digital format and loading them into the document management system to optimize business processes, meet regulatory requirements, and customer care needs. This is all back office work, with no borrower-facing contact. Great attention to detail and experience working in mortgage loan servicing are required.Responsibilities:Digitally combine packages and check images for quality and accuracy.Identify correct borrower loan numbers and cross-reference by name, address, phone number, social security number, or email address in LoanServ and Valeri.Load document images to the electronic document repository database (EDMS) and accurately categorize/index them.Aid in the disposition of documents process.Maintain regular and punctual attendance.Top Skills Details:Mortgage, Mortgage loan servicing, FHA Loans, Conventional loans, Loan documentation, Loss Mitigation.Requirements:- Must be able to work M-F 8am-5pm EST (you can sit anywhere in the US but need to work on an EST schedule).- Mortgage loss mitigation experience - 2+ years (recent experience required).- Experience with document scanning and indexing.- Proficient in Excel and Adobe Acrobat.- Knowledge of various file formats.- VA/FHA loan experience.Experience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
