MUST BE ABLE TO WORK W2.Description:Security Lending Product - Apex is a broker custodian, managing a variety of inventory of sales that it lends out to businesses like hedge funds and registered advisors (B2B). If a client requests shares, Apex checks its inventory, determines availability, and sets the loan terms including the rebate and interest rate. Apex profits from these loans and shares the profit with the end consumer, similar to a home loan or cash loan.The contractor will work on a key product in this application, which handles loan processing, stock management, and the lifecycle of contracts. This includes recalling stocks when necessary, either due to a shortage on Apex's side or at the request of the end consumer. The system integrates with vendor partners such as FIS, Broadridge, and Lending Pet to gather data for decision-making.The primary focus will be on redesigning and rearchitecting the platform on Google Cloud, while also considering the existing system, which is 15 to 20 years old, written in business logic, and based on stored procedures.
