Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and collections, with a strong background in account reconciliations, managing customer disputes, and a solid understanding of financial procedures.Key Responsibilities:Manage and process accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.Perform heavy account reconciliations, including deductions and discounts.Investigate and resolve customer disputes, ensuring high-quality customer service.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely payment application.Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure payments are collected.Assist in month-end closing activities and reporting.Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve discrepancies and optimize AR processes.Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and collections.Proven experience with heavy account reconciliations, particularly involving deductions and discounts.Strong ability to handle customer disputes effectively and professionally.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.High level of common sense and analytical thinking.Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Experience with Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, and NetSuite is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
