Under the direction of the Clinical Nutrition Manager (CNM), the Supervisor Clinical Nutrition assists with daily operations of the diet office including scheduling of employees, coordinating daily workflow assignments for menu, nourishment and tray delivery, performance improvement projects as assigned, on-boarding new employees, training and education of staff and patient engagement initiatives.Job Responsibilities

Will be a resource to staff for consultation with problem-solving and decision-making.Assists with and resolves human resources, employee and department safety, and risk management issues.May provide mentorship to dietetic interns and/or nutrition students as assigned.Qualifications

Must meet the education requirement or equivalent experience required for a CDM credential per the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers or for a DTR credential per the Commission on Dietetic Registration.Minimum 2 years of work experience in a nutrition department or high-volume healthcare food service environment as a lead or supervisory role managing daily operations.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or similar PC applications. Experience with Epic EMR and CBORD Nutrition Services Suite preferred.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with widely diverse groups, including individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization and gain their cooperation.Demonstrated ability and success in personnel management and team building essential.Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.Ability to collaborate with department leadership on performance improvement initiatives and quality standards.Strong knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations and procedures as they pertain to operations of a healthcare food service operation.Knowledge of menu planning and therapeutic diets.Excellent customer service skills and ability to demonstrate empathy for the population served.Available to work a flexible schedule when needed.License/Certification/Registration Requirements

A minimum of a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) credential required.Food Safety Management Certification required.Ages of Patients Served

This position will serve all age groups.Salary Range:
