As a nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, monitoring patients' conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care in our outpatient observation unit. It's intended for observation status patients. The unit is considered for patients that do not meet the inpatient criteria.As a successful candidate, you will:Integrate and practice according to the City of Hope Professional Practice Model to deliver care service excellence.In alignment with City of Hope mission and values, carry out the nursing process, coordinate interdisciplinary care planning, and document according to standards, including validation of the patient and caregiver’s understanding of the plan of care and expected outcomes.Act as a change agent, committed to lifelong learning, professional development, and embodiment of City of Hope organizational mission and values, and the values and ethos of the profession of nursing.Work hours: 7am - 7:30pmFull-time 12-hour shift / 3 days a weekYour qualifications should include:3-5 years of experience in an acute care setting and/or outpatient settingBachelor’s Degree in NursingLicensures:CA RN LicenseBLS through American Heart AssociationACLS through American Heart AssociationPALS through American Heart AssociationCity of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
