In addition, we are home to the Team One Four Infusion Center where we provide a wide range of outpatient infusions to pediatric patients.The

Intermediate Infusion RN

performs both independent nursing and delegated medical functions as a member of the clinic care team. The independent nursing includes assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patient population(s) in the ambulatory care setting. In addition, duties include participation in and coordination of delegated patient care to other health care team members.Intermediate Infusion RN Overview

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Place PIVs on infant to adult patientsUse sterile technique to access portsAdminister a range of IV therapies (blood products, chemotherapies, biologics, etc.) & IM InjectionsRespond to infusion reactions and anaphylactic reactionsAssess patient needs and identify anticipated nursing outcomesImplement nursing interventions based on the plan of careEvaluate care and the patient's response to interventions and expected outcomesDeliver care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patientsFind opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and patient outcomesMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in NursingValid Minnesota Registered Nurse licenseBLS CertificationCurrent national certification depending on area of specialty or the ability to obtain within 18 months of start date or prorated for FTE appointment5+ years of outstanding nursing experience in an advanced specialty or acute care setting with at least 2 in advanced specialty area or 3 years of specialty experience with applicable certification based on specialty (or the ability to acquire within 18 months of start date or prorated for FTE appointment)*Due to differences in scope of care, practice, or service across settings, the specific experience required for this position may vary.*Location:
