This role is required to be onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA.Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our company as an Accounts Receivable Accountant. As part of our accounting team, you will maintain and administer accounts receivable records and files, apply payments, help with weekly cash reconciliations, and facilitate collections as necessary. Our preferred candidate has at least a bachelor's degree in accounting, business finance, or a related field. You must have five or more years of experience in an accounts receivable environment, including experience with reconciling accounts, making deposits, applying payments, managing a general ledger, and creating reports for stakeholders.
Duties And Responsibilities
Prepare weekly financial reports for stakeholdersApply cash payments and resolve potential discrepanciesIssue customer invoices and/or billing statementsFacilitate collection from overdue accounts as necessaryTrack and record payments remitted and services renderedPerform AR aging review and reconciliationsCollaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputesParticipate in the ERP optimization projects related to AR and BillingReview and document contract terms to make sure revenue recognition is correctEnsure billing agrees to the terms on the contract and all contracts are processed in ERPPrepare waterfalls for all other than product revenue streamsReconcile AR aging and follow up on the unpaid balances with internal business owners and external vendors/sellers/suppliersSystem optimization related to Order to Collect cycleParticipate in other projects related to audit, revenue recognition, collection, or billing processRequirements And Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related fieldCPA licensure highly preferredFive or more years of experience in an accounts receivable or accounts payable environmentExperience with account reconciliationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with invoicing and data entry softwareProficiency with all standard accounting and presentation software and platformsDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in workBenefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-$95,000This role may be eligible for discretionary bonus, incentives, and benefitsOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and locationThe range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for new hires for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors like job-related skills, experience, and work locations.
