Staff Accountant
to support a federal agency through the performance of accounting support activities. This individual will be working directly within a group to accomplish assigned tasks as a part of a large overall contract including a variety of different workstreams.As a team member of the Advisory practice, you will be required to execute the following tasks for our Federal Government client(s) with appropriate supervision:
Perform routine accounting tasks associated with reconciling, posting, summarizing, and reporting financial transactions.Analyze and reconcile general ledger to subsidiary ledgers and/or between multiple data sources.Prepare and process accounting entries in the financial system.Analyze transactions and assist in the validation of accrued amounts / assumptions.Document procedures for tasks performed.Perform a variety of different analytical tasks.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related business field from an accredited university.1-2 years of relevant experience.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong commitment to quality and integrity.Security Clearance:
