Position SummaryZAGG is on an exciting journey to find an exceptional Vice President of Information & Technology Services (VP of Technology for short) who will be the strategic leader behind our global technological future. This role is not just about managing IT; it's about setting and enforcing global standards across all systems and processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence in every aspect of our technology landscape. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the VP of Technology will lead the charge in developing and executing a global technology roadmap that fuels our product innovations and streamlines operations worldwide.Collaboration is at the heart of this role. The VP of Technology will work hand-in-hand with other departments and executives, ensuring our technological solutions are seamlessly integrated with our broader business goals on a global scale. From pioneering new technologies to establishing robust cybersecurity measures, the VP of Technology will play a crucial role in guiding ZAGG through the complexities of today’s digital world. We are looking for a visionary leader who not only understands the intricacies of technology but can also translate those insights into global standards and actionable strategies that drive our company forward.

Key Responsibilities and Characteristics

Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement IT strategies in alignment with the company's business objectives

Lead the IT department in operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources

Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance visibility

Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT initiatives with business strategies

Establish IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure a secure and compliant technology environment

Tactical & Technical Expertise

Ability to lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of major systems

Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability

Direct and manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, introducing them as needed.

Organizational Efficiency and Analytics

Drive initiatives to improve data quality, reliability, and timeliness for business operations

Drive initiatives to enable data analytics solutions for operational chain insights and decision-making

Management and Communication

Manage IT budget and resources, ensuring optimal ROI on technology investments

Oversee IT staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Effectively collaborate with Business leadership and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Communicate IT-related strategies and initiatives to executive management, staff, and external stakeholders

Security, Compliance and Scalability

Maintain an on-going security program to ensure robust cybersecurity measures to protect Zagg's data and systems

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws, such as data protection and privacy standards

Foresight to plan for scalability and security to implement systems that can grow with the business

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

Proven experience upgrading, implementing and managing ERP systems

Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills

Experience in budget management and strategic planning

Strong knowledge of IT governance and operations, including cybersecurity, data management, and regulatory compliance

Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong technical leadership and team management skills

Preferred

MBA or related advanced degree or demonstrated experience

Background in Agile project management and DevOps methodologies

Experience with running environment in AWS and providing CI/CD services
