Lesman Instrument Company (A Kele Company), a nationwide provider of process control valves, industrial instrumentation, and analytical instrumentation, is in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Bensenville, IL.The Accounting Specialist supports the accounting department in its accounts receivable function, recommending enhancements/additions to existing accounting performance metrics along with daily process improvements.Responsibilities:

Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.Performs daily invoicing and related tasks.Submits invoices to customers via email, mail, or customer portals.Releases sales orders upon receipt of payments.Maintains and updates customer records, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.Maintains access credentials for customer portals.Records collection activity in the company’s ERP systems.Creates credit memos.Performs credit card reconciliations.Deposits checks and posts to ERP.Posts ACH payments.Processes credit applications.Maintains sales tax certificates and ensures that sales tax rates are updated in ERP.Processes Certificates of Insurance as needed.Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.Assists with related special projects, as required.Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts via communication with customers.Follows up on delinquent accounts, updates, and maintains accurate financial records including accounting, receivable, and credit records.Prepares and sends statements on delinquent accounts.Follows established guidelines to review and update account status.Performs other related duties, as required.Answers and transfers calls.Runs various reports weekly, monthly, and as needed.Updates postage as required.Allocates inbound mail to departments.Preferred Qualifications:

Two to four years of undergraduate work, associate’s degree, or applicable certification.Minimum of one year of related work experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to learn and use company software.
