part-time

(24 hrs/wk) opening for an Office Assistant to provide a variety of administrative duties in our Alexandria, VA, office. This will be a cross-functional administrative position supporting managers and employees. The position will begin at 24 hours/week.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAdministrative Support : Provide general administrative support to SGSS management and employees including scheduling meetings, managing calendar, and handling correspondence as needed.Document Management : Prepare, edit, and distribute various documents and reports. This includes review of timesheets, submission for approval.Office Coordination : Assist in the coordination of office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies. Schedule and monitor office maintenance and cleaning.Event Planning : Assist in coordinating company events, meetings, and conferences.Expense Reporting : Review employee expense reports prior to submission for management approval. Monitor monthly account payables, process invoices and miscellaneous expense reports.Supplies Management : Monitor and order office supplies as needed. Ensure office equipment is maintained and serviced.New Employee Orientation : Assist with onboarding new employees.Data Entry : Perform data tasks and maintain databases.Security Administration : Includes badging, building and office access, alarm systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSMust be a US citizenHigh School Diploma and no less than five (5) - seven (7) years of office administration experienceDemonstrated ability of strong communication skillsProficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong organizational and time management skills
