Position Title:
Physical Therapist, HWC Outpatient Rehab Per DiemPOSITION SUMMARY:To plan, organize, and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients in a variety of age groups according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy. To collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team and supervise the work of support staff.EDUCATION:Possess at least a master's degree from an accredited college or university, except for an applicant who prior to January 1, 2003, possessed a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Current and valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist. Current BLS Certification.EXPERIENCE:No previous experience required. 1-year experience in an outpatient setting preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS:Current and Valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist, Current BLS Certification, Standard Precautions, Keyboard Skills, Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail, Effective critical thinking and analytical skills, Effective time management to set priorities and perform job-related responsibilities, Ability to communicate and interact with relevant departments within the health system, patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members in accordance with Valley's SERVE and CARE standards, Ability to interact with patients in stressful situations and changing work environments related to changing patient needs.Area of Talent:
