Pelvic Health Physical Therapist Full Time DayPOSITION SUMMARY:To plan, organize, and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients in a variety of age groups according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy. To collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team and supervise work of support staff.EDUCATION:Possess at least a master's degree from an accredited college or university, except for an applicant who prior to January 1, 2003, possessed a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Current and valid New Jersey license as a PELVIC HEALTH PHYSICAL THERAPIST. Pelvic health experience preferred; training with Herman and Wallace or APTA CAPP preferred.EXPERIENCE:No previous experience required. 1-year experience in outpatient setting preferred. Pelvic health experience preferred; training with Herman and Wallace or APTA CAPP preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS:* Current and Valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist.* Current BLS Certification.* Standard Precautions.* Keyboard Skills.* Ability to perform work accurately and give attention to detail.* Ability to use effective critical thinking and analytical skills.* Ability to use effective time management to set priorities and perform job-related responsibilities.* Ability to communicate and interact with relevant departments within the health system, patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members in accordance with Valley's SERVE and CARE standards.* Ability to interact with patients in stressful situations and changing work environments related to changing patient needs.Area of Talent:
