Location Requirement:Must be located within an hour of Raleigh, NC. Role is mostly remote but candidate needs to be able to come in for major outages if they arise.
Description:This person will be working with the Network Security team. Responsibilities include:Redesign and implement the firewall infrastructure that supports data and voice network services in the field and at data centers.Implement new firewall rules based on change requests.Document and update network changes and designs.Architect and implement 2-Factor VPN authentication.F5 load balancing.Nexus 7K/9K switches.Install, configure, and maintain IDS/IPS on Cisco ASA5506-Sourcefire.Install and configure Cisco ASA and Palo Alto Firewalls.Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.Configure and install new firewalls throughout the network.Review existing firewalls with Firemon and make recommendations to remove unused firewall rules.Test upgrades, updates, and configuration changes in VMware environment.Configure and troubleshoot VPN tunnel issues.
