BH-377490Plant Financial Controller needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Bessemer City, North Carolina.Annual Salary: $170,000 per yearPosition Summary:
Responsible for leading financial planning and accounting at the Bessemer City site, which includes both the Manufacturing and Research & Development functions. The Plant Controller has two full-time direct reports, reports to the Manufacturing Finance Manager located at the Philadelphia headquarters, and has a key dotted line relationship with the Bessemer City Plant Manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead plant budget, monthly/quarterly forecast and close processes and deliverables, including reports, presentations, internal communication, and calendar.Work with site management to improve the plant's economics, manufacturing and management objectives, and policies. Provide analysis of operations, inventory, and assets and recommend strategies for processes and profit improvement.Analyze and communicate financial performance of the manufacturing plant through various reporting mechanisms to the Plant Leadership Team, Corporate Leadership, and operations staff.Collaborate with Plant Leadership team to develop manufacturing variance forecasts and perform analysis and interpret variances from budgets and standards.Lead plant product cost analysis and standard cost setup.Manage & monitor working capital at a site level.Ensure compliance with financial standards and Sarbanes-Oxley.Assist with site fixed asset portfolio from a financial perspective.Monitor process effectiveness and efficiency against goals and objectives, taking corrective action as necessary.Lead site inventory management for finance.Promote safety as a core value.Support Responsible Care initiatives & fulfill SBO and accident reporting obligations to the plant.Travel:

Bachelor's degree in accounting/financeMBA/CPA/CMA desirableMinimum of 10 years' experience in process manufacturing industryCost Accounting and financial analysis experienceKnowledge and Skill Requirements:
