The QC Escalations Analyst - Level III is required to have a higher level of valuation and mortgage risk analysis expertise than a Level I or Level II QC Escalations Analyst.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesExamine appraisal reports for completeness and conformity with client requirementsExamine revised appraisal reports to verify that client requests are appropriately and completely addressed in a manner consistent with Fannie Mae's Appraiser Independence Requirements and Reg. Z (Truth in Lending) valuation independence requirementsResolve appraisers' disputes, clients' correction requests and value appealsMaintain awareness of client requirements, regulatory requirements and investor guidelines as applicable to all PCV valuation products and servicesProvide feedback to the business on appraisal trends and appraiser issuesFacilitate vendor/client communication, including hosting meetings and conference callsWork closely with peers and managers on cross-functional projectsProvide the Assignment and QC teams subject matter expertise related to high value and highly complex reports, and provide guidance on appraiser selectionDiscuss with the client appraisal fee changes resulting from the appraiser's determination of complexity, scope of work and other assignment challengesHandle escalations from senior members of client staff for which a valuation expert with deeper scope and expertise than that of a Level I or II Escalations Analyst is requiredProvide production support to other QC teams as neededQualifications and SkillsRequiredHolding a valid Appraiser License at least 3-5 years; High school diploma or equivalentAt least 5 years real estate or mortgage risk experienceAppraisal and appraisal reviewPreferredCertified Appraiser; Some college work or higherAMC or bank experienceRequired Soft SkillsStrong interpersonal skillsProfessional integrityResults orientedCreative problem solvingRequired Technical SkillsPeer collaborationEffective and concise written and verbal communicationDecisive judgment and urgent executionTask prioritization and delegationDetail oriented and analyticalCustomer service backgroundOutlook, Excel, WordAA-EOE F/M/DISABILITY/VETBehaviorsDetail Oriented - Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellSkillsMS Excel (required)Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants...
