Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Drainage Coordinator, we'll count on you to:Provide project engineering with a focus on transportation projects and public transportation clients throughout the Southern California RegionConduct hydraulic and hydrologic modelingConduct stormwater collection systems modeling and designCollect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos, and public forumsProduction of design calculations and technical reports; and lead preparation of engineering plans and specifications for the design of detention facilities, storm drains, flood control facilities, and other hydraulic structuresWork independently as well as assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/taskBe involved in highway and railroad drainage design and plan production for Caltrans and Municipal clients, drainage analysis and documentation, and stormwater management design & permitting.Preferred QualificationsCandidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringFamiliarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with civil engineering software such as Bentley Concept Station and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms (e.g., Open flows) as requiredAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
